Virtual Meeting

TOPIC:  Before opening your building to employees-Water Quality Issues you should be aware of.

Special Guest Speakers:  Jill Oropeza, Director, Sciences Water Quality Services Division, Fort Collins Utilities and Mark Cassalia, Customer Account Manager, Fort Collins Utilities

When building occupancy decreases significantly (as it may have throughout the stay-at-home order), the water held within the building's plumbing system can deteriorate.  When water is not used regularly, the chlorine residual levels can decrease, which may result in a lower level of drinking water quality in these buildings.  Representatives from Fort Collins Water Utilities will inform you as to what to do and what to be aware of.
